U&S, T&R, User experience, design for elderly

In collaboration with the Eriksholm Research Centre, the goal was to support users with beginning hearing loss to keep their quality of life intact. It aims to enhance the hearing experience by combining IoT and tangible interaction research to support the young elderly with a seamless and custom-fit user experience.

The product visualizes sound across the living space of the user, it categorises the importance of the sound and shows a matched “notification” with variable intensity.

Project 2 was a deep dive into designing and involving an unknown target group. The 7 elaborate user tests with elderly participants were an incredible learning opportunity for getting the most out of a user test and creating an as seamless experience as possible.

Next to that, I continued experimenting with technical realisation, working on the electronics for the final demonstrator.
